Narayana Health, C-CAMP (The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms) and Axilor Ventures have come together to create a platform to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in healthcare. The platform will enable healthcare entrepreneurs to collaborate, seek advice from leading experts and provide access to research and clinical resources. The platform will also build a community of healthcare entrepreneurs.
Healiate is a directed innovation challenge, organized by Narayana Health, C-CAMP (The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms) and Axilor Ventures. The first edition of ‘Healiate ’, seeks entrepreneurs with innovative solutions to prevent and manage diabetes, a growing disease burden in India.

Step I: This contest begins with one simple step: REGISTRATION.
Step II: Complete the online form and upload your solution idea.
Step III: Shortlisted contestants will be intimated by February 18, 2016
Step IV:The top five contestants will have the opportunity to present at the Symposium in Bangalore in the last week of February
The submission will be evaluated on the potential impact of the solution/ idea to:
Improve access, affordability, effectiveness or prevent the onset of diabetes improve access, affordability and effectiveness in managing or preventing diabetes
Provide evidence of delivering outcomes better than existing alternatives or offer completely new ways of preventing or managing diabetes
The submission can be in the form of a document or presentation answering the following questions:
What is the problem you are solving in managing or preventing diabetes?
Why did you select this problem to solve?
In one line, describe your solution in managing or preventing diabetes?
What competing alternatives exist for your solution? How is your solution better than existing alternatives?
Who will primarily use your solution and how will it benefit them? Who will pay for this solution (if different from the user)?
